Tony Marks is a highly regarded senior figure in the commercial tourism industry who we have partnered with for work with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade regarding airline services in the Pacific. He has 24 years commercial tourism industry experience, covering: governance, management, strategy, planning, supply chain, airline, infrastructure, and marketing.
He has a wealth of experience in the commercial tourism sector including: 8 years as Director of Virgin Samoa (current); Director of Ngai Tahu Tourism (current); Chairman of Rotorua Tourism Committee (current); 5 years as House of Travel Director. Prior to this, Tony held senior management roles in a number of high profile commercial tourism and primary sector businesses including: Pacific Blue Airlines (NZ) Limited Chief Executive; Origin Pacific Airways Chief Executive (2003); Zespri International Chief Executive (1998 – 2002); Air New Zealand International General Manager (1989 – 98) and; Carter Holt Building Supplies Managing Director (1981– 1989).
